Vintage circa 1930's Lovely Quality Chinese, One Piece Hand Carved Figure of a Family or group of Monkeys in Soapstone, nicely detailed the figure features a trio of Monkeys at play, one riding the back of another whilst the third monkey guides, in very good condition throughout, there being no damages, chips or repairs the figure stands 5 cm tall with a width and breadth of 2.3 cm x 4 cm respectively or 2 inches by 0.8 inches by 1.7 inches, the underside to the figure is hand etched and finished with a painted Chinese character, likely a makers mark.

This lovely figurine would have been a Tourist piece of the early part of the 20th century, last era of the Grand Tours and brought back to England as a Souvenir.
